Corporal F. G. Ormerod, whose wife and child reside at 105, Hapton Road, Padiham, Lancashire, was awarded the B.E.M., in the New Year Honours List. He has served for 6 years in the 4th East Lancashire Regiment and at the moment is awaiting demobilisation.
