Japanese prisoner of war captured at Singapore 15 February 1942. Was in a prisoner of war camp in Malaya until the surrender of the Japenese Forces on 14 August 1945.

He was a married man aged 30, living at 5, Hart Street, Burnley, employed at Burnley Clubs Brewery, Keighley Green, Burnley.

A member of Burnley's Auxillery Fire Brigade.
